Today, on the Sting blog I wrote about several topics “From The Desk of Brent Coralli” I wanted to share here. In particular, I announced the implementation of a Learning Management System (LMS), designed to make sure all our coaches are being provided the latest coaching techniques, philosophies, conflict resolution with parents, fans, players and motivational techniques for kids that include watching carefully that fine line of bullying/not bullying.
As we continue to grow and expand, it is critical that every coach receives the same information, the same way so there is no confusion as to what is expected.
Some important things from the blog:
– To ensure all of our coaches are walking and talking the Sting walk and talk, we are in the process of implementing a Learning Management System (LMS) so every coach receives the same training and are certified annually. No coach will be permitted to step on a field without the annual certification.
– Quite frankly, the health and well-being of our players is priority one and we want to make sure – as we continue to grow and expand in different cities – we are all schooled on the Education of Life Through Soccer and our five pillars of Pride, Tradition, Character, Commitment and Leadership.
– As far as I know, this is something no other soccer organization does – – we see this as something that must be done.
As the CEO of Sting and as a parent of three children, I am very proud of this step. Read the full blog here: From the Desk of Brent Coralli – Sting Soccer’s LMS Will Ensure ‘Best Practices’ For Coaches
